Since the technology has been playing a significant role in a modern world, there are many challenges threatening the current legal system. Modern technological developments create brand new and trending challenges for a legal world. As for the privacy law issues, data protection and data subject rights have been considered as one of the most important and fundamental rights among other rights referred in constitutional laws of many countries, especially in Europe.
In 2016, European Parliament issued an important regulation called General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Through GDPR, personal data is secured, and data subject has been granted significant data subject rights towards data controller and processor. In other words, in a glimpse of analyze in GDPR, the whole concept focuses on to protect personal data and data subject as prioritizing privacy right as a fundamental right of a person.
